Going Green
WiseCampus.com is going green!

In December 2008 WiseCampus.com started its first green initiative. We installed 10 recycling bins in our top schools to help reduce notebook waste. We have found that hundreds of thousands of notebooks are wasted every semester by college students across the United States. ISTC believed it could help reduce waste even with being a new company. Our efforts to “Go Green” by recycling students notebooks has helped decreased waste, and in some cases provide underprivileged students with gently used notebooks.
WiseCampus.com continues to provide paper recycling containers to student organizations at various campuses that share our passion for recycling. Anyone willing to help us in this effort is welcome and student organization or companies can even get their logo placed on these containers. WiseCampus.com also is going green in its corporate office. We are currently moving to a new office in Indianapolis (April 2009). This office has been designed for WiseCampus.com to not only function as a corporate office, but be environmentally conscious. We have installed energy efficient appliances throughout the building and are in the process of reducing our environmental "footprint" even more.
