I was looking at what it takes to get a $25 gift card and how many points it is worth. To be honest, i have around 4100 points and i upload so many notes and work to get that, yet i still cant even get a $5 gift card. I feel the point totals should be less and easier to get rewards.
What do you think?

As the saying goes...
"beggars can't be choosers."
Also, remember that the reward values increase as you participate more.
yea, when you keep contributing, you get rewarded for it. just hang in there and soon you'll be getting more points for your notes!
once you become a scholar member its not that bad to reach 19000 points. You get 5 times as much as points for being a scholar member. Just hang in there
must we fufil all the criteria posted on the "points" page to qualify for a scholar member? Or just one of those do?
cause ive gotta say its hard to invite 40 friends who'd accept.
sorry, typo above, I mean to say " or just one of those would do?"
and yeah, besides, by upgrading to VIP, would you automatically gain scholar member status? or is that a separate thing?
If you keep active, the admins will take notice and up to to scholar. I posted tons and tons of notes and was decently active in the forums, but don't think I invited 40 friends (I don't even know 40 people who are in college...). Now I'm in med school and I still post all my notes and go on the forum once in a while.
