So I was just checking my favorite metal news site, blabbermouth.net, and stumbled upon a rather curious article about Anthrx guitarist Scott Ian supporting gay marriage. I am actually not posting this because of the whole gay part of it. It is the grassroots movement mentioned in the article that has caught my attention. I think it's really cool. I have posted the link below if you are curious to read it. Definitely worth checking out, I do believe... Cheers!

Very interesting. I definitely like the campaign slogan, NO H8! It's very creative.
I think marriage is a private matter, and the government shouldn't have any say on who should or shouldn't be married.
i agree but the problem is that the govt does have a say in what tax and income benifits as well as insurance and medical regulation apply to "married couples"
marriage is a church matter.
there is a big difference between gay rights and gay marriage
identifying who is gay is also a major issue...how can you tell? It is easy to tell someone's skin color. If i want "extra" privelages, then all I would have to do is call myself gay.
marriage is a private matter and the government should not be involved at all. As for the matter of tax status do away with the concept of the "state" and there will be no more taxes. Indiviuals, groups churches, insurance companies etc. can decide for themselves which marriages they want recognize in their business/personal lives.
Prop 8 was overturned today.
