yeah i heard about that..really impressive. i saw the money yesterday. I thought it was really good. It is definately my favorite movie so far

I saw part of 1 Harry Potter but couldn't make it through the whole thing.

P.s. amazing how many Harry Potters there are and how many people read the book as well as see all the movies. My mom is a librarian and kids ask for the books all the time even if they aren't at their reading level... parents prolly have a grrreeeat time reading those huge books for bedtime stories.

i'm a big fan of the books, but most of the movies just fall short they also left alot out! like what the other horcruxes are- how will harry know what to look for?

I like the books too, and I agree that the movies fall short. However, I think they do a fairly good job considering time restraints. I certainly would not want to sit and watch a movie for any longer than three hours. I thought the new movie was good though, better than the first couple for sure.

i understand that it must be extremely difficult to adapt such a long book into a two and a half hour movie... however i thought that this movie was the worst of the series. i hope the next two are better

I think I'm the only one who hasn't watched it or the previous movies. I only saw the first 2 and read the first two books. :( but everything I read/watched so far is pretty good

I've yet to see it. I am going home to Atlanta on Thursday and plan to see it on Friday. I'll let you know what I think of it then. I have read all the books twice. I love HP. I do.

It was pretty good, but I thought it could have been better. Like previous movies, they left out a lot, but it has also been a long time since I read the book.

It has been a long since I have read the books, also. But can you really turn a 600+ page book into a 2.5 hour movie without leaving some things out?

IMO, books are better than movie version. But movies are cool too

I know that some things must be left out, but there are some things that I feel are necessary but had been cut...

i read somewhere that the movie G Force made more money the first week that harry potter...its hard to believe

I think it was G-Force made more money in its opening week than Harry Potter did in the same week, not Harry Potter's opening week.

yea, G-force made a few million over Harry Potter one weekend, but Potter made more initially

haven't seen it and probably won't. I haven't liked the previous 5 movies.

better than the last.. considering the last (5th) was the shortest movie and longest book.. which accentuated the amount of stuff they left out.

It was definitely better than the 5th. I'm glad they found another good director. Why do they keep switching though?

who knows, but i'm looking forward to #7, i wonder what it's gonna be like split in 2 movies

Meh. Never really cared about the HP movies. They try to fit too much content into a relatively short period of time. Not even the Lord of the Rings Series could solve that although it was very entertaining.

they did the best they could with what they have.  just capitalizing on the craze still i guess lol

I LOVE Harry Potter!  This movie was good (because I love them all!), but they focused WAY too much on the romantic relationships in that movie.  This was opposed to the most important relationship of the book...the independent study, mentor- student relationship between Harry and Dumbledore.  That was almost completely ignored, but so important for the book.

Deathly Hallows is sick! Agree????
