lil bit, it's been a while

A lot of people are talking about books that become movies and movies that become books. I dont' get to read for pleasure often but hope the movie turns out well for all the fans.

The books are great, but the movies are ok....the past movie was better than the other movies released. I just hope that the movies keep on getting better.

I am -- although I wasn't that crazy about the last one. Some reason it dragged a bit.

The movies don't do justice to the novels. Not whatsoever. At all. In their defense, they do bring the books to life. Alan Rickman plays a great Snape. Hermione just gets hotter and hotter!!

When does it come out? I always take my little brother to see the Harry Potter movies whenever they come out.

I agree with Josh on the movies not following the books well. But, they are still pretty nice (and yes, Hermione does get hotter and hotter). ^_^

thats the case with most movies that are taken from novels..the book is always better

i am more intrigued by the previews for this movie than i have been for the others, but it still won't even come close to the book.

Depends on if you see the movie first or read the book first. I think people tend to like whatever they see first...

Yep, since most people read the book first, it's natural for most people to like it better. I think the movies are nice because they capture the essence of the story.

if you read the book, and watch the movie, it's good to just view the movie as a movie and not an extension of the book. i don't think i've seen a movie that i like better than the book...ever

Well, the movie does help in visualizing and bringing things to life. I agree that it's disappointing when it doesn't follow the book, though. Are there any books written after the movie?

I rarely have a visual image because I read for the story and don't pay attention to much detail.
