Hi Katie- I am on the 3rd book right now, about half way through, I hope that the movie does the book some justice- I am normally not impressed by movies if I have read the book. I am really hoping this one is different, the previews look great. I take that last comment back- the Harry Potter movies were pretty good compared to how outstanding the books were- not much of a disappointment there. It was nice for me that I read the books late- that way I did not form main characters in my head, I had watched the trailers for the movie before I read the book so I knew what most characters would look like I hope that helps! I am taking my niece on Sunday in hopes of not being too over crowded, but I am sure it will still be pretty full.
Hmm...well i've read all the twilight books at least 3 times each (yes i am a bit of a twilight fan girl)...i really hope they didnt screw up the movie, because that might ruin twilight for some people...me and a couple of my friends are going to the midnight premiere tonight, so well hopefully it was worth it lol
Nicole- Be sure post on the blog tomorrow how you liked the movie! I can't wait til Sunday when we go to see it! I hope you like it and they do a good job!
I've heard that the books are supposed to be good and the movie is going to be good, but I will not be going to see it. It just doesn't seem that appealing to me.
I have not read the books yet, but I saw a review that said that it had most of the plot and such, but it was missing the emotions and other intangible stuff that made the books what they are
so i didnt post it the day after i went to see it, because i was on a plane at 6 am going to florida...but!!! the movie was awesome!! it definitley did the book justice. the acting was spectacular. the emotions were, yes, a little undefined, but not so much as that you cant relate the movie to what made the books what they are. i really suggest going to see it, it has a bit of everything, especially for the fans of the books already.
